Outdoor signs can be exposed to a lot of wear and tear. At Wine Country Signs in Santa Rosa, we know how important it is to you that your signage be correct. We have a lot of experience with both interior and exterior signs and know which materials are the best for your signage needs. Each project is unique, like our recent job for Sonoma County Agricultural Preservation and Open Space District.
Like with many of our jobs, this project was a referral. We love referrals because it reaffirms to us that we are doing everything possible to keep our customers satisfied. We wouldn't be given a recommendation if we gave shoddy service. If you know anything about us, you know we want to help you and your business realize your signage needs.
This time around we had the pleasure of working with Alex Roa, an Associate Planner with Sonoma County Agricultural Preservation. We have done other projects for the group in the past, but this was our first time working with Alex. The signage need was straightforward - they needed signs on a new trail system on the East slope of Sonoma Mountain.
Alex already knew a bit about solid Aluminum signage, which was great. Unlike Alex, many of our clients start out with no idea of what they need. If you fall into that category, don't worry! We are committed to helping you from concept to completion. Feel free to contact us to discuss your unique needs.
Alex knew he needed something that would last a long time outdoors in the sun and inclement weather, but also needed the signs to be lightweight so they could be carried down the hiking trails and hung easily. We recommended using 3mm white Alupanel, which ended up being the perfect solution.
Alupanel is a great material for signage. At Wine Country Signs we know how useful this material is, so we use it for many of our projects such as the Building Signs for Sonoma Estate Vintners. Alupanel is a great lightweight alternative to solid aluminum signage. The panels are a two-sided, pre-finished aluminum composite, consisting of two 0.30mm aluminum sheets. These sheets are laminated to both sides of a black polyethylene core to give better structure and durability. Because Alupanel is lightweight, it is both easy to carry and easy to mount.
Alupanel also displays graphics beautifully, making it a wonderful material to work with. It looked great with our direct to substrate print method, a method we have used in the past with projects such as the PVC Signage for Trecini Wine. We use UV cured inks on our flatbed printer to get the best quality graphics. This project went really well, and we're very proud of our work.
We love sharing about our past projects. We want our future customers to feel confident in our skills and experience.
