AJ Printing and Graphics has provided Sonoma County with all its printing needs since 1978 with the current owners Dan Johnston and Greg Johnston gladly taking over 15 years ago. With decades of experience between them and a drive to look for the bigger and better future, the two wanted to expand by sprinting into the signage business.  With a successful business in Rohnert Park, Wine Country Signs was the perfect opportunity to join in on a growing and developing industry. After an agreement to put their heads together and learn more about one another’s specialty the two became one, moving to the original AJ Printing and Graphics location in Santa Rosa. Both businesses have had a long standing relationship in the community and have joined their staff to make one cohesive team.

Think Before You Print

When thinking of designing a brochure, sign, banner or event promotion always use the cliché “Less if more!” Potential clients’ first process an image within the first few seconds so make sure your sign is eye catching (usually with a detailed graphic) and a minimal amount of text. Ever notice how your eyes glaze over when reading a long document? You want to keep their attention, for large format use large fonts and a clear message, for a brochure keep it short and informational and for events keep the theme (color, logo, font) consistent so that people will recognize your brand no matter what the format.
