This week marks our 37^th birthday in Sonoma County! AJ Printing & Graphics opened in 1978 and we have enjoyed every year! Time flies when you're having fun printing signage and more for wonderful customers while watching their businesses grow.

Our current owners, Dan and Greg Johnston, bought the company 15 years ago when they were still in their twenties, after the founders Jim and Pagan Cruit retired in May of 2000. At that time, AJ Printing & Graphics and Copies, Etc., owned by the Johnston brothers, were combined and moved to our current location on Central Avenue. The Johnston brothers had made a name for themselves in the printing industry with their sales experience and industry know-how. The Cruits had a friendship and Rotary connection with the brothers and were quick to recognize their professional skills and passion for the industry. The company couldn't be in better hands! Dan and Greg Johnston are still busy printing signs and banners and providing all kinds of other marketing services.

Having lived in Santa Rosa their whole lives, the Johnston brothers have a strong bond with the community. Because of that, we have decided to celebrate this momentous anniversary for our company by becoming a “Go Local Business” with Sonoma County GO LOCAL. GO LOCAL helps communities and locally-owned businesses with networking opportunities, as well as creates a way for businesses and residents to buy local, stay local, and eat local to boost sales and tourism while supporting local businesses and agriculture.
